Snowboarding Podcasts

I assume that most of you guys out there either got an iphone or an ipod (or both...). As you know these devices have a wide range of features, and one of them is the ability to download podcasts from the itunes store and watch them while you're on the road. There is a huge number of different podcasts produced especially for snowboarding. I'm gonna show you my favorites: (just klick on a link and you'll be automatically forwarded to the selected podcast in the itunes store.) By the way, don't worry about your money just because I'm talking about the itunes store. Podcasts are available for download for free, you don't need a itunes account. Some of the podcasts are not in the right video format to be played on an iphone or ipod. You'll either have to convert them or to watch them in itunes.

After so many teasers it feels good to have the opportunity to watch a full length movie again. And it's even better when this flick's on the internet for free! So here we go: a nice short movie from Nomis with the title "The Neighborhood". Filmed and edited by Nate Lavert. Podcasts!

Ipod: Kennt jeder, hat (fast) jeder. Podcast: auch ziemlich bekannt würde ich meinen. Kurze Erklärung für die Unwissenden: Podcasts sind kurze Videos (oder Sendungen), die man abonnieren kann (entweder über iTunes oder über ihre eigene Website, wenn sie eine haben...), die man dann auf den Ipod laden kann oder einfach so am Computer schauen kann. Es sind also sozusagen kurze Fernsehsendungen, die man unabhängig von Sendezeiten schauen kann.
Fürs Snowboarden gibt es unzählige davon, aber einer der berühmteren Snowboard Podcasts wird wohl "shralp.com" (-->http://shralp.com/) sein. Dieser Podcast wird im zwei Wochen Takt publiziert und enthält News zu Contests, neuen Videos, und sonstige Neuigkeiten zur Snowboardszene.
Wie gesagt es gibt soo viele davon, dass es unmöglich wäre alle aufzuzählen (sogar Laax hat einen eigenen für seinen Park...)
Wenn ihr euch dafür interessiert, geht einfach über iTunes in den iTunes Shop und gebt im Suchfeld "Snowboard" ein. Wählt dann die Kategorie Podcasts aus und "voilà", habt ihr die ganze Riesenauswahl vor euch. Und keine Angst, Podcasts sind for free! (ihr braucht also keinen iTunes Account um sie herunter zu laden).
